Mrs. Wanda Lowe Pellerin, 80, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, April 11, 2023.  She was born October 16, 1942, in Sparta, NC to the late Dillon and Alma Lowe.  Wanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She was a faithful member of Freeman Street Baptist Church.  Wanda was known by many to be a great speller, with one of her greatest accomplishments being winning the state spelling bee.  She was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Jerry H. Pellerin; sister, Vicky Lewis; and brother, Ray Lowe.  Wanda is survived by three sons: Randall Ellis (Barbara), Jerry Ellis (Amy), and Shawn Pellerin; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and one on the way; and two sisters, Shirley Pope and Linda Cruz.
A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 18th at Parklawn Memorial Park with Brother Bob Whitaker officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:30 PM to 1:30 PM prior to the service at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
