Wanda Marie Luffman

Ms. Wanda Marie Luffman, 70, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born December 30, 1940 in Forsyth County to Franklin and Hazeline Steele Minton. Ms. Luffman was of the Baptist faith. She was retired from Reynolds Tobacco Company. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lois Dull; and her fiancé, Grant Blackburn. Surviving are three daughters, Debbie Moore (Greg) of Lexington, Jackie Mays (John) of Winston-Salem, and Carla Luffman of Lexington; three grandchildren, Tamara Marion, Bryan Moore and Stacie Moore; three great grandchildren, Nathaneal, Allan and Courtney Cashatt; two step grandchildren, Kasey McDowell and William Mays; three sisters, Joyce, Maxine and Audine; three brothers, Frankie, Steve and Keith; and her puppy dog, Precious. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 18 at Parklawn Memorial Park with Chaplain Rennie Adcock officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 17 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will like to give special thanks to Kate B.
