Wanda Evelyn Honaker

Wanda Evelyn Honaker, 77, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at her home. She was born January 18, 1936 in Welch, West Virginia to Roy and Lena Russell Compton. Mrs. Honaker was employed at Cloverdale Kitchen for 43 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Carlos Honaker. Surviving are two sons, Roy D. Honaker (Terry), and Rick C. Honaker (Laura); and her grandchildren, Tamra Hayes, Christian Honaker (Jaclyn), Amanda Honaker and Lena Honaker. A celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 25 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Rick Sides officiating. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
