Wanda Loretta Everhart Potts

Mrs. Wanda Loretta Everhart Potts, 76, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025, at Kernersville Medical Center.

Wanda was born in Forsyth County, NC, on February 22, 1948, to the late Wallace Avery Everhart and Emma Omega Anderson Everhart.

She was a devoted member of Thomasville Church of Christ, where she served in many capacities. Throughout the years, Wanda expressed much interest in crafts. She loved to sew and knit, and attended “paint nights” with her sister, Debbie. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Wanda loved caring for her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 52 years, Larry Edward Potts; her daughter, Tracy (Russell) Schweikert; son, Travis (Kristie) Potts; sister, Debbie Everhart; five grandsons, Harley (Aisha), Christian, Justin, Joshua, and Zach; one granddaughter, Jamie (Austin); two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Annika; and one more on the way.

A funeral service will be held at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 2:00PM. Burial will immediately follow the service at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends the night prior, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 6:00PM – 8:00PM at the funeral home.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Trellis Hospice Care, especially Nancy, and the staff at Kernersville Medical Center for their care given to Wanda.
