Wanda Mitchell Doub

Mrs. Wanda Mitchell Doub, 77, passed away Wednesday, February 04, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Wanda was born March 26, 1937 to Master and Ethel Mitchell. She retired from R J Reynolds Tobacco Company with 37 years of service and was a member of Crossroad Baptist Church. Wanda was married to Harvey W. Doub, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George Mitchell.

Wanda is survived by her son, Richard Boles and wife Shelia of Lexington; sisters, Sadie Yager and husband Bill of Florida, Sara Key and husband Glenn of Pilot Mountain; brother, Roger Mitchell and wife Rene of Florida; sister in law, Margaret Mitchell of Winston-Salem; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Wanda's life will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2 pm at Doubs United Methodist Church, 5591 Seward Road, Pfafftown, NC with Reverend Paul Mullen officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday, February 6, 2015 from 6 - 8 pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.

The family would like to thank Mallard Ridge and Forsyth Palliative Care Unit and Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for their care of Wanda.
