Wanda Barrett

It is with great sadness that the family of Wanda Faye Barrett announce her passing at Forsyth Medical Center on Tuesday, December 15, 2020.

Wanda was born on May 24, 1931 in Forsyth County to the late Marshall and Gladys Grubbs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Ford; two sisters, Shirley and Ramona; two sons, Gary GoForth and Steve Tuttle; and daughter, Pamela Barrett.

She will forever be remembered by her son, Terry Goforth; sister, Audrey Walker; grandson, Tim Barrett (Ann); granddaughters, Terri Jackson (Chastin) and Crystal Armstrong (David); four great-grandchildren, Logan, Paige, Chase and Ammy); and two great-great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Greylyn.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Liberty Baptist Church, 1548 Old Hollow Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27105, with Pastor Gary Styers officiating. Burial will immediately follow the service at Providence Moravian Graveyard, 929 Old Hollow Rd., Winston-Salem, NC 27105.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Forsyth Humane Society, 4881 Country Club Rd, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
