Walter Horton, Jr.

Mr. Walter James “Jimmy” Horton, Jr., 44, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022.  He was born October 27, 1977, in Forsyth County to Walter James Horton, Sr. and Teresa Fay Wright Horton.  Jimmy had many passions in life, including fishing, tattoos, NASCAR, blue grass music, and most of all, his family.  He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Frank and Alice Collison; maternal grandfather, Frank Cleary; aunt, Linda Horton; and uncle, John Horton.  In addition to his parents, Jimmy is survived by his wife, Laura Kay Horton; three children: Austin Horton, Ethan Horton (Sadge Hughes), and Raelynn Horton; granddaughter, Ayanna Horton; two sisters, Heather Bugett (Aundra) and Amanda Florido (Jose); two nephews, Tyler and Diego; seven nieces: Erica, Veronica, Elizabeth, Julia, Monica, Alexia, and Liliana; and maternal grandmother, Mawmaw Jackie.  A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Sunday, June 5th at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
