Wallace Robert Grandy

Mr. Wallace Robert Grandy, 91, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2009 at his home. He was born February 1, 1918 in New York to Leland and Ruth Hill Grandy. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, Marion Ann Reschke Grandy. Surviving are four sons, Stephen Grandy and wife Marie of Scotland, Charles Grandy and wife Sue of Winston-Salem, Philip Grandy and wife Beckie of Winston-Salem, and Thomas Grandy of Greensboro; three grandchildren, Adam, Jason and Tonya; and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel in Winston-Salem. Entombment will be in Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
