Mrs. Vivian Clark Johnson, 91, passed away March 9, 2015 at The Oaks at Forsyth. She was born May 2, 1923 in Newport, KY to the late Clinton Arthur Clark and Maude Neu Clark. Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, Christopher Johnson, two sisters and one brother. She retired from Piedmont Airlines/US Airways with more than 20 years of service. She loved meeting people and enjoyed traveling extensively in the United States and abroad. Mrs. Johnson is survived by her three sons, James Johnson (Oneata) of Miamisburg, OH, Robert Johnson (Sandy) and David Johnson both of Winston-Salem; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three nieces; one nephew and other loving family members. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Sam. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Funeral services will be held at a later date at Evergreen Cemetery in Southgate, KY. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Liberty Hospice and the staff of The Oaks at Forsyth for their care and compassion.
