Virginia Crim Wilkinson passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2014 at Camden Place Health and Rehabilitation in Greensboro. She was born June 1, 1922 in Winston-Salem. Virginia will long be remembered by the customers of Virginia's Uniform Shop, a local business which she faithfully managed for many years. She was known for her legendary pound cake, which was thought to be the best in the world. In addition to her parents, Mae and Fred Munn, Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Pascal Wilkinson, Sr. Survivors include her two sons, Pat Wilkinson, Jr. (Patsy), and Bob Wilkinson (Sandra); five grandchildren, Kim Holder, Scott Wilkinson (Kari), Craig Wilkinson (Heather), Leigh Anne Shelor (John), and Robbie Wilkinson; seven great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Jake Penley officiating. Interment will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park.
