Mrs. Virginia Dare Dellinger Wagstaff, 93, died on Friday, February 2, 2018, at Somerset Court of Mocksville. Virginia was born in Mecklenburg County, VA, on November 22, 1924, to D.H. and Lilly Wilkerson Dellinger. She was a member of Waughtown Baptist Church and retired from Salem Carpet with 12 years of service. During World War II, she was a seamstress and proudly aided in making Army/Navy uniforms and bandages. Virginia's life was centered on family, she enjoyed spending time with her children, and adored her grand and great-grandchildren. She was a kind and loving person, who will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Marvin Lafayette Wagstaff; four brothers; three sisters, and one son-in-law, Henry Maynard Bellamy, Jr. Surviving are two daughters, Regina Wagstaff Skeens (Bruce Foster) and Nancy Bellamy; two grandchildren, Autumn Crandall (Courtney) and Lauren Keith; two great-grandchildren, Marissa Crandall and Lucas Crandall; and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2pm on Monday, February 5, 2018, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Mocksville, 377 Hospital St #103, Mocksville, NC 27028.
