Virginia Bodsford Spoon

Mrs. Virginia Bodsford Spoon, 80, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Piney Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born December 15, 1931 in Elkton, Maryland to James Wesley and Katherine Bunce Bodsford. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Spoon, Sr. Surviving are 3 sons, Jack W. Spoon, Jr (Wanda) of Spartanburg, S.C., Mark Spoon (Lisa) of Kernersville and Richard Spoon of Winston-Salem; a daughter, Sandra Spoon-Bruno of Atlanta GA.; 6 grandchildren, Jacqueline, Rachel, Jordan, Brittany, Alec, and Grayton; and her siblings, James Wesley Bodsford, Jr., Stanley Bosdford (Laura), Danny Bodsford, Evelyn Bodsford and Jerry Bodsford. A private family graveside service will be held on Monday. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Piney Grove Nursing Center for their love and support.
