Mrs. Virginia Johnson Lineback, 89, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Tuesday, October 20, 2015. Virginia was born on December 28, 1925 in Forsyth County, NC to Robert Eugene and Alma Shutt Johnson. She played basketball for Clemmons High School. Virginia worked as a book keeper for 40 years with Mack Trucks. She was a faithful member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Lonnie Lester Lineback; her brothers, Bill and Bobby Johnson; and her sister, Ruby James. Virginia is survived by two daughters, Brenda Douros and husband Bill of Williamsburg, VA and Lisa Barney and husband Randy of Lexington, NC; two granddaughters, Melinda Barnes and husband Andrew of Alexandria, VA and Lindsay Barney of Charlotte, NC. A funeral service for Virginia will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Dr. Mary Rowe Miller officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends in the family life center of the church following the service. Memorials may be made to Mt.
