KISHLINE Mrs. Virginia Snyder Kishline, 85, of Winston-Salem, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Springwood Care. She was born December 22, 1923 in Forsyth County to Clinton Edward Snyder, Sr. and Stella Ellis Snyder. Mrs. Kishline was a member of Clemmons Moravian Church. She was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with many years of service, where she worked in the offices in the old R.J. Reynolds building. She graduated from Clemmons High School where she played the violin in the school orchestra and the school orchestra won the state championship. She also played the violin when she was younger at various functions at Clemmons Moravian Church. She also graduated from Draughon Business College prior to working at R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. Mrs. Kishline was an avid collector of antiques and various curios, and was especially fond of collecting clocks and music boxes. She also enjoyed traveling. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Kishline; her parents; and a brother, C.E. Snyder, Jr. Surviving is a niece, Sharon L. Snyder of Winston-Salem; and a former sister-in-law, Mrs. Sallie H. Conrad of Winston-Salem. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Westlawn Gardens of Memory Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Ray Burke officiating.
