Virgina Parham Crews

Kernersville- Mrs. Virginia Murrell Parham Crews, 100, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at her son’s residence. She was born on May 30, 1924, in Forsyth County, the daughter of James and Martha Goode Parham. Virginia was a member of Bunker Hill United Methodist Church and a homemaker who had a wonderful loving heart, she was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren. Virginia was truly a member of the “Greatest Generation.” She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gorrell Crews and eight siblings. Survivors include two sons, Larry Crews (Ginger) of Summerfield and Jack Crews (Tonia) of Kernersville; six grandchildren, Shelly Reining (Kris), Stacie Jarrett (Wesley), Jason Crews (Mary), Kristi Dorton (Scott), Jordan Crews (Samantha) and Morgan Crews and nine great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, February 24, 2025, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory with Rev. Hubert Mabe officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to the Shepherd Center, 636 Gralin St., Kernersville, NC 27284. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
