Virgil Eugene Money

Mr. Virgil Eugene Money, 72, passed away July 8, 2011 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born March 4, 1939 in Forsyth County to the late Virgil Columbus Money and Mora Eaton Money. Mr. Money was a member of Church of Christ and was a graduate of Gray High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company with 31 years of service. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Money is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Pat ""Sally"" Money of the home; a son, Rodney Money and wife Mary; a daughter, Angie Barnhardt and Matt; four grandchildren, Ashley, Claudia, Alison, and Philip; a sister, Carol Watson and husband Don; two brothers, Steve Money and wife Melissa and Randy Money and wife Sandy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Mr. James A. Percival officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens . The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the service time.
