Vincent James Fabrizio passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Bermuda Commons in Advance, NC. Vincent was a graduate of Juilliard School of Music. He traveled and performed with Olsen and Johnson on Broadway. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Vincent moved to Winston-Salem from Connecticut in the 1960's. He owned Salem Building and Realty and was a successful contractor and realtor in NC. Vincent will always be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his late wife Phyllis Markley Fabrizio; his son, Mark Vincent Fabrizio and his grandson, Jimmy Jackson, Jr. Surviving are his three children, Jill Fabrizio Jackson, Lance Henry Fabrizio, and Susan Fabrizio Anderson; a daughter-in-law, Debbie Fabrizio Montle; a son-in-law, Jim Jackson, Sr.; his grandchildren, Kim Styers (T.J.), Joseph R. Anderson, Nicholas Scott Fabrizio, Zachary Vincent Fabrizio; his great-grandchildren, Kayla Nicole Jackson, Austyn Ray Davis, Breeana Jade Markley Davis, Salem Ann Styers, and Jheyza Thea Anderson. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers an account has been set up at Wells Fargo to benefit David Kirkpatrick (a close family friend) for his medical expenses. The family would like to thank the staff at Bermuda Commons for taking such wonderful care of Vincent.
