Vickie Harbin McGlamery

Mrs. Vickie Harbin McGlamery, 69, of Lexington, NC, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. McGlamery was born on September 13, 1942 in Guilford County, NC to the late Mr. William Clinton and Geraldine Mock Harbin. She was a member of Green Meadows Baptist Church. Mrs. McGlamery retired as an Executive Assistant to the Forsyth County Manager. Preceding Mrs. McGlamery in death were her parents. Surviving Mrs. McGlamery are her husband, Parker Stephen McGlamery of the home; a son, Victor Stephen McGlamery (Stasia) of Winston-Salem; a daughter, Connie Ann Smith of Lexington, NC; two grandsons, Sgt. Stephen William McGlamery (Dana) of Ft. Stuart, GA and Edward ""Edje"" Collins of Winston-Salem; three great-grandchildren, Kaylee McGlamery, Sarah McGlamery, and Addison McGlamery; one sister, Connie Lee Bryant (Tommy) of Thomasville, NC; a niece, Sherri Goddard (Garland) of Thomasville, NC and a great niece and great nephew, Heath and Heather Stroud of Thomasville, NC. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 21, 2011 at Green Meadows Baptist Church in Mocksville, NC with Pastor Joshua Greene and Pastor Michael Waters officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel on Thursday, October 20, 2011.
