Vicki Lynn Petty Stewart

Mrs. Vicki Lynn Petty Stewart, 52, of Winston-Salem, passed away on Tuesday May 3, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Stewart was born on October 18, 1958 in Forsyth County to the late Mr. Paul and Betty Thompson. Mrs. Stewart worked as a print room specialist in the textile industry. Preceding Mrs. Stewart in death along with her parents was a sister, Kathy Roland. Surviving Mrs. Stewart are her husband, Ralph Stewart of Winston-Salem; a daughter, Nikki Petty of New York; one son, James Petty of Winston-Salem and a step-son, Cory Stewart of Winston-Salem. A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Friday May 6, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family will receive friends following the service. On Tuesday, May 3rd the life of a wife, a mother and a best friend came to a short end after a long battle with cancer. Although our goodbyes were hard and too short, you are resting and have been made new with no pain!
