Vera Eunice Eaton

KERNERSVILLE-Vera Eunice Eaton, 94, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015. She was born December 29, 1920 in Forsyth Co. to the late Noble and Carrie Landreth Eaton.

Vera was an active member of Goodwill Baptist Church as long as her health permitted. She retired from Hanes Brand Inc., formerly Adams Millis after many years of service.


In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Margie Eaton; and three brothers, George, David, and Tom Eaton.

Surviving are her sisters, Jewel Eaton of King, Nealie Watson of Pilot Mtn., Pauline Watson of King; a special niece and nephew, Ruth Ann and Jerry Greene of King; and many other nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Greg Mullis officiating. Burial will follow in Goodwill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
