Valinda Neal Teague

Mrs. Valinda Neal Teague, 86, of Pilot Mountain, N.C. passed away surrounded by her family on January 28, 2025, at the Authora Care Hospice Home in Alamance County, N.C. Valinda was born in Forsyth County to Paul and Veona Neal. She graduated from Mineral Springs High School in 1956 where she met Leo Teague who became her husband of 61 years. She enjoyed painting, collecting and selling antiques and volunteered with her husband at Village Care in King for 17 years. She was an active member of her church and loved to cook for her family and friends. With her gift of creativity, she wrote poems and short stories. Valinda was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Leo Teague. Valinda is survived by her son, David (Anna); her daughter, LeAnn (Jimmy); five grandchildren: Landon (Kaitlin), Andrew, Sarah (Kenny), Melissa (Michael), John (Calvin); five great-granddaughters: Evie Kate, Nell, Mae, Marion, Chandler; her sister -in-law, Mary Teague, a devoted friend, Colby and her adored lap-dog Dolly. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 at Poplar Springs Christian Church on Saturday February 1, 2025.
