Mr. Tyler Nicholas Close, 18, of Winston-Salem passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. He was born on December 3, 1991 in Morgantown, WV to Mark and Sherry Morgan Close. He was a member of Maple Springs United Methodist Church and graduated from Mt. Tabor High School. Tyler was planning on attending UNC Wilmington where he was going to pursue a degree in business. Tyler was very passionate about life. He never met a stranger. He would do anything for a friend. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, boyfriend and friend to all that knew him. Preceding him in death were his great-grandparents, Joseph and Elizabeth Close and great grandmother, Beatrice Morgan. Surviving are his parents; his sister, Caitlin Elizabeth Close; his grandparents, Marvin and Peggy Morgan of Albright, WV, Bill and Nancy Graham of McHenry, MD and Joseph and Rita Close of Morgantown, WV; 4 uncles, Scott (Erica) Graham, Jeff (Patti) Graham, Michael (Kim) Close and Randy (Jami) Christopher; 2 aunts, Carla Graham (Dave) Yoder and Cindy Graham (John) Bray. Tyler loved spending time with family especially his cousins. He leaves behind a loving family, a multitude of friends, especially his princess Astin and her parents, Dave and Karen Larmour who loved him as a son. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2010 at Maple Springs United Methodist Church with Rev. Anne Elmore officiating.
