Trudy Davis

Mrs. Trudy Larson Davis, age 62, of Advance, died Friday, July 2, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born March 24, 1948 in Rockford, IL. to William and Viola Guffey Larson. Mrs. Davis had retired after 39 years of service as a Reservation Agent for the airline industry. She was an avid animal lover and supporter of animal rights and humane treatment of animals. Mrs. Davis had several hobbies such as quilting, pottery and jewelry making. She is survived by her husband, Chuck Davis of the home; one daughter, Danyel D. Hatcher and husband Scott of Advance; one son, Charles Daniel Bradley and wife Leslie of Santa Rosa, NM; five grandchildren, Brandon Hatcher and Desiree, Daniel, Dylan and Tanisha Bradley; her mother, Viola Mae Lamp of Rockford, IL; one brother, William J. Larson and wife Ann of Duarte, CA; one sister, Susan L. Gevertz and husband Russ of Sunnyvale, CA. and her mother-in-law, Joyce Peard of Mocksville. A funeral service will be conducted at 6:30 PM Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel by Rev. Reece Wall.
