Troy Lee Walker

Mr. Troy Lee Walker, 74, of Kernersville, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born June 21, 1940 in Forsyth County to Walter William Walker and Viola Warren Walker. Mr. Walker was a very loving and giving person who loved the game of golf. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Rebecca ""Becky"" Walker; two brothers, James R. Southern and Coy Ray Walker and two sisters, Helen S. Campbell and Barbara W. Speaks. Surviving are two sisters, Brenda Venable and Patricia Walker and one brother, Walter William Walker, Jr. Also surviving are Brandon Ramey, who he thought of as a son and his wife Christina; two special grandchildren, Brooklyn and Kaleigh Ramey; nieces, Kim Miller (Jr.) and Connie Porter; a special nephew, Gary Woods and several other nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at Parklawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Johnny Cameron officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
