Trevor Anthony Kotlyn

On Sunday, July 5, 2020, Trevor Anthony Kotlyn, loving husband and father of one child, passed away at the age of 28. He was born July 13, 1991 in Cleveland, Ohio. He received his bachelor’s degree from Shenandoah University in 2013 and was actively pursuing a master’s in GIS from Kent State University.

Trevor had a passion for wood working which led him to create a woodworking business with his wife called Wacadoo Wood Works. He was known for his sense of humor, infectious smile, and kind and goofy spirit. He was an avid DC Comics fan and nicknamed his son Batman at daycare.

On August 24, 2018, he married Erin Elizabeth Kotlyn. They had their son, Oliver Allen Kotlyn, a month later. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Erin Elizabeth Kotlyn; his son, Oliver Allen Kotlyn(“little man”); his pups, Linux and Flash; his mother, Susan Anne Kotlyn; his stepfather, Jeffrey Francis Kotlyn; his father, Robert Bradley Cottom; his brother, Troy Joseph Cottom; his mother-in-law, Judith Sherri Woodall and father-in-law Christopher Allen Woodall; and two nephews, Mason Luca Cottom and Tyler James Cottom.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
