Trevor Alden Blankenship

Mr. Trevor Alden Blankenship, 29, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2017 at his home. He was born in Moses Cone Hospital, in Greensboro, on February 24, 1988 the son of Denny Blankenship and Pamela Blankenship. Trevor attended Reidsville High School and spent many years in the Reidsville area. He was employed at Classic Packaging Company in Pfafftown, NC. Trevor was preceded in death by his father, Denny Blankenship. He is survived by his mother and step-father, Pam and Tim Reynolds of Pfafftown, a half-brother, Denny Sherman Blankenship of Southport; his aunt and uncle, Danny and Karen Blankenship of Ridgeway, VA; a cousin, Carrie Blankenship; aunts and uncles, Donald and Donna Tester, and Raymond and Linda Hancock all of Thomasville. He is also survived by numerous extended family. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 1, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Stanleyville with Pastor Eddie Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery in Ridgeway, VA. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday evening at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. Trevor had so much love to give and he gave this freely and openly to anyone willing to be his friend. He loved everyone unconditionally, both family and friends. He was the most empathetic and compassionate person I have ever known. Trevor took my heart with him, when he went to meet the Lord. I know we will both be together again one day. You left this earth far too soon and everyone that knew you was blessed to have you in their life for a brief time. You were loved deeply by so many. You will be missed in so many ways. Trevor was a self-taught guitar player and this was one of the many things he enjoyed during his short life. Trevor, I can't believe you are gone and I want you to know that I am proud and blessed that you were my sweet, sweet son and a good man to all.
