Ms. Treva ""Trever"" Pauline Smith, 94, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at her home. She was born July 8, 1916 in Davie County to Charlie Levi and Cora Dunn Smith. Ms. Smith was of the Baptist faith. She was employed with Hanes Knitting for 26 years until her grandchildren were born and then she loved taking care of her family. Surviving is a daughter, Joyce S. Snyder of Winston-Salem; five grandchildren, Melinda Diaz, Robin Lockhart, Kelly Lovette, Scott Snyder and Chris Snyder; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Davie County with the Rev. Robert M. (Bob) Peek, Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
