Mrs. Treva Stewart Hodges, 88 of Winston Salem passed away August 2, 2009 at her home. She was born February 1, 1921 in Surry County to Bolden Casper and Laura Maude Stockner Stewart. She was a member of Pinedale Christian Church and retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company with 20 years of service. Mrs. Hodges will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bishop and one son Claryton Hodges. She is survived by three daughters Molene Hall and husband Johnny of King, Lauretta Ramey of Winston-Salem, Trudy Lambeth of Winston-Salem; two sons Stewart Hodges and wife Betty of Tobaccoville, Sherrill Hodges and wife Kathy of Hoover, Alabama, and Adrian Hodges of Winston-Salem; a daughter-in-law Mrs. Ellen Hodges of Winston-Salem; sixteen grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 3 step great grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted 12:00 Noon Tuesday August 4, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with the Rev. Tony Holder officiating. Burial will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00-9:00 pm at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
