Toye Ann McAlpin Maness

KERNERSVILLE-Toye Ann McAlpin Maness, 80, passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born December 23, 1934 in Buncombe Co., to the late Cass Rhyne and Ornah Bentley McAlpin.Toye Ann was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Kernersville and a retiree of Gilbarco. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Maness; nine brothers and sisters. Surviving are her two daughters, Cynthia (Gary) Newman of Inverness, FL, Kathy (Wes) Adkins of Atlanta, GA; three sons, Rodney, Donald, and Robert Maness all of Kernersville; and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Gardens of Memory.
