Mr. Tony Stephen Adams, 63, passed away Friday, May 3, 2019 at his home.  He was born August 9, 1955 in Forsyth County to the late Robert Guy Adams and Nancy George Adams.  Tony was a faithful member and deacon of Jefferson Christian Church.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and an avid golfer, fisherman, and UNC fan.  Tony was actively employed in human resources for Reynolds American, where he celebrated 45 years of service last December.  His co-workers were considered by him to be his second family.  He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Marcia Tuttle Adams; three daughters: Misty Meadows (Mike), Molly Newman (Chad), and Kelli Mickey (Lee); six grandchildren: Emery Meadows, Audrey Meadows, Lilah Newman, Beau Newman, Jake Mickey, and Seth Mickey; brother, Randy Adams (Cindy); niece, Christina Purgason; two great-nieces, Ava Purgason and Arden Purgason; two sisters-in-law, Anita Clayton (Ricky) and Sandra Tuttle; niece, Shannon Clayton; nephew, Bobby Clayton; and close friends, Keith Avery and Mike Draughn.  A funeral service will be conducted 5:00 PM Tuesday, May 7 at Jefferson Christian Church with Steve Cook, Minister officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM prior to the service at the church.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to A Brain Balance Scholarship fund, a go fund me page, in memory of Tony Adams.
