Tommy Harden, 76, of King, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 23rd to Margaret Alderman Fox, Tommy lived a life defined by devotion to his family, faith, and community. He proudly served in the United States Army and later built a long and dedicated career at Siemens, where he worked faithfully for many years.
Tommy was a passionate and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Deborah Harden; his daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Scott Haithcock; his granddaughter, Grace Haithcock; and his grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Seth and Emily Haithcock. He is also survived by his sister, Beverly Kallam; extended family members Terry and Lisa Harden and Patty Everhart; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Andy and Joan Hauser, and Michael and Beth Hauser; along with many cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A devoted Christian, Tommy was known for his kind heart, strong faith, and infectious joy. He was an avid golfer, woodworker and a loyal friend to many. His charismatic wit and warm sense of humor could light up any room and brought joy to all who knew him.
A celebration of Tommy’s life will be held at Mount Pleasant Methodist Church on Saturday, April 12th, 2025, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends prior to the service, beginning at 1 p.m.
Tommy will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who had the blessing of knowing him.
