Tommie Shutt

Tommie Lee Shutt, 75, completed his earthly journey on Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born on October 26, 1944 in Forsyth County to Charles Robert and Emma Huffman Shutt.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant son; two brothers, Kenneth R. Shutt and Edward F. Shutt, as well as an infant brother, Charles.

He is survived by two sisters, Margaret Moses (Sis) and Ila Mae Lennon (Billy); and one brother, Billy R. Shutt (Miranda). He leaves behind a daughter, Tami Burton (Adam) and their daughter, McKenzie Burton; son, Michael Shutt and his son, Blake Shutt.

Due to the Pandemic of COVID-19, a Celebration of Life service for Tommie will be held at a later date. The Shutt family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Creekside Manor as well as Trellis Supportive Care for their care of Tommie.
