Todd Rigdon

Mr. Todd Kordel Rigdon, 48, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 5, 2021.

Todd was born May 21, 1973, (or as he used to say as a young child, “May 21st the 21st of May”) in Kansas City, MO.  A kind and caring soul, Todd never met a stranger and always believed the best in everyone.  He grew up listening to Christian music and the love of it continued throughout his life.  He loved to attend church and was a member of Sedge Garden United Methodist Church.  He enjoyed fishing and anything to do with cars, from putting together model cars to watching TV shows about them.  His gentle and loving nature will be dearly missed.

Todd is survived by his parents, Dr. Kenneth L. Rigdon and Margaret Lee Rigdon; sister, Krystina Erinn Rigdon; many aunts, uncles, and cousins and especially his cousin, Kay Rassmuson with whom he shared a unique kinship; godparents, David P. Darnell and Marilyn J. Hood; and special family members, Daniel Edge, A.J. Edge, Jackson Edge, and Peyton Edge.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Knollwood Baptist Church with Dr. Bob Setzer, Jr. officiating.
