"T.J." Herbert Shore, Iv

WALNUT COVE – Herbert Thomas ‘T.J.’ Shore, IV, passed away Sunday, June 27, 2021 from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. T.J. was born on September 6, 1986 in Forsyth County.  T.J. was a very loving and tender-hearted person, who valued his family – especially his children and he loved being a “Dad”.  He was a great singer and loved being outdoors, enjoying football, camping, fishing, motorcross and riding dirt bikes. He enjoyed his job as a welder and also coached football with his uncle, Ryan.  T.J. considered everyone his “brothers” and loved all of his friends like they were family.

T.J. was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Granny & Pa Shore; and Grandmother & Granddaddy Nelson.

Surviving are his wife, Kayla Shore; children, Tristan Moss, Tyler Moss, and Taylen Grace Shore; his father, Herbert Thomas Shore, III and mother, Kimberly Lynn Wall; his aunt and uncle, Sandy & Ryan McGee; a favorite uncle, Brian Shore; his grandparents, Nanny & Papaw Wagner and Granddad Shore; two sisters, Erica Lynn Shore and Ria McGee Andresen; four brothers, Matthew Ryan, Logan Vance, McCray William, and Stephen Nathaniel McGee.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 2, 2021 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Frank Shumate officiating. Burial will follow at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
