Tina Louise Lyle

Tina Louise Lyle, 52, of Jamestown passed away June 8, 2013 at the Hospice Home of High Point. She was born April 28, 1961 in Duluth Minnesota to Van Truett and Sally Moffett Lyle. Tina moved with family to the Winston-Salem area when she was a young girl. She graduated from Parkland High School and then earned a B.S. in Computer Technologies from High Point University. She worked in IT for several companies in the area over the years but also consulted in Richmond, Va. and New Mexico. Tina operated her own consulting company, LyleCo, for a time. She was most recently promoted to Banking Officer by B.B & T. Tina loved animals, people and nature. She spent her free time outside hiking at Stone Mountain or sections of the Appalachian Trail. She earned a service award for her many hours she volunteered at the North Carolina Zoo. She worked at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center and at the mobile training station at the Rocky Cove Exhibit. Tina loved all animals but she was especially fond of cats and had several spoiled kitties over the years. Tina put serious work into play. She traveled with friends to Disney World and Hawaii and visited family from Texas to San Francisco to Washington State. Everywhere she traveled, she was interested in great food and good merlot. Tina absolutely loved life and she lived it to the fullest. She was crazy about the 'Life Is Good' brand and made it her personal motto right down to the end. It matched her own positive outlook and the playfulness she brought to life. Surviving are her mother of East Bend, N.C.; a brother, Randy Lyle and his wife, Taffi; a niece, Sydney Lyle; a cousin, Karla Jewel and her daughter, Jennifer; a cousin Adam North and family; a father-in-law, Bob Tannehill; her 'Memaw', Ginger McKnight; sister-in-law Jennifer Forrest and family; brothers-in-law, Lance Tannehill and son Ian; and Mitch McKnight and family; very special friends, Mary Ciocan, Donna Glosson, Adelfa Hill, Darlene Chambers, Joanne Orr, Mary Ann Smith, Mike Cambell and many other friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society; the North Carolina Zoo, Asheboro; Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, N.C. or to the Humane Society.
