Timothy "Tim" Fishel

Timothy Charles Fishel, 66, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022 after a lengthly illness.  He was born June 26, 1956 to Charles and Hazel Robertson Fishel.  He was a graduate of West Forsyth High School and UNCC.  While at UNCC he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.  Upon graduation he began a career with Piedmont Airlines as a reservation agent in the international department.  He retired from US Air due to medical reasons.  He enjoyed genealogy and traced ancestry back many generations.  As long as his health permitted, he enjoyed attending estate sales and was a collector of antique china and glassware.  He was a lifelong member of Fraternity Church of the Brethren and an associate member of Friedberg Moravian Church.  He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Howard Fishel.  He is survived by his mother of the home; several cousins and numerous members of the Piedmont/US Air family.  A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Fraternity Church of the Brethren.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fraternity Church of the Brethren Building Fund, 3760 Fraternity Church Rd.
