God has healed Tim and heaven is rejoicing. We are heartbroken now but know we will be reunited with him one day. He was my love and dear husband, Adam's awesome dad, a much-loved brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, son, co-worker, and a great friend to so many.  Tim fought stage 4 pancreatic cancer for 23 months. He lived the quote, “Don’t give up. Don’t ever give up.”  And he never did. He was so incredibly strong through many fierce trials in this life, but God's strength filled him. And carried him sometimes, too. Tim became a Christian & was baptized at an early age serving God in the Baptist church wherever he lived and since 2000, honored to be a member of the loving church family of Union Cross Baptist in Kernersville, NC, who have blessed us tremendously.

Tim always made sure his family was cared for and worked hard to make sure we had what we needed. We never went a day without hearing, "I love you." Tim worked full time, until his death. His 33-year career in the Mortgage Insurance industry was spent mostly at United Guaranty (now ARCH) in Greensboro, NC, but the past several years as QA Manager at Essent Guaranty in Winston Salem, NC.  His work families and friends are a true gift and a blessing.

While extremely dedicated to his work, Tim also cherished his time off.  Though private and reserved, he liked to have fun.  A genuine "guy," he loved cars & trucks, his recliner, coffee & donuts, meat & potatoes, grilling out, hiking & biking, spending time with friends and family, Elvis Presley, and watching his favorite sports team. A lifelong, unwavering NC State fan, it was always a good day if State won or if Carolina lost. Best if both at the same time.

Tim loved travel and adventure, visiting numerous US states and several foreign countries.  He liked to visit the mountains and the beach.  Wherever we went, he wanted to be near the water.  Just not in it or on it.  We enjoyed RVing the past 6 years (Cub Scout & family tenting trips got upgraded) and camped often, even throughout the pandemic.  When at home, Tim relished our backyard campfires to relax in the evenings.

The fire of love in our hearts will never go out.  We'll see you when God says it's our time to join you.  It's just a little while until forever.
