Timothy Joseph Sullivan, Jr.

Mr. Timothy J. Sullivan Jr., 57, of Advance, passed away Monday, August 23, 2010 at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. He was born on August 23, 1953 in Winchester, Massachusetts to Timothy & Lucy Sullivan of Advance, NC. Tim owned Lawn Doctor of the Triad and was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father and was looking forward to being a grandfather. Mr. Sullivan enjoyed sports, working outdoors, spending time with his family and was avid Red Sox fan. Mr. Sullivan is survived by his parents; his wife, Mary P. Sullivan; daughter Melissa and husband Bill Popkoski and son Daniel, three brothers Tom (Karen), Ted (Tammy) , Mike (Cindy), and two sisters Margaret Smith (Randy), Theresa Beam (Joe) and many nieces & nephews'; several cousins, aunts and uncles. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2010 at Holy Family Catholic Church with Father Tri Truong officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Carolina Donor Services, 909 E. Arlington Blvd., Greenville, NC 27858, Gift of Life Fund in honor of Timothy J. Sullivan, Jr. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. McPhearson from the Emergency Room staff and to the ICU3 staff Unit of Forsyth Medical Center for the wonderful care they gave.
