Timothy Southard

WINSTON SALEM – Timothy William Southard, 64, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Forsyth Medical Center. Tim was born on December 27, 1956 in Forsyth County to the late William Hollie and Ida Ballard Southard. Tim was a loving husband, father and grandfather, whose upmost priority was taking care of his family. He loved spending time with his three grandsons, never missing an opportunity to spoil them with his attention and love. Tim worked at Forsyth Technical Community College as an electrician and had a strong passion of sharing his experiences and knowledge with his co-workers. He was very dedicated to his work family and friends.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Sandra Southard; his daughter, Brandi Edge; three grandsons, Tyler, Deven and Aiden.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Parkview Church of God with Pastor Bobby Dishman officiating. Burial will follow the service at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:15 p.m. prior to the service at Parkview Church of God.
