Timothy Lewis Minor

Mr. Timothy Lewis Minor, 58, of Elkin, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017 at his home.

Tim was born November 12, 1958 in Forsyth County to Billy and Thelma Minor. He enjoyed playing his dobro and spending time outside. He also loved to spend time with his dogs and chickens and his pig, Wilbur. Tim was preceded in death by his father, brothers, Ricky Minor and Danny Minor, and sister, Sandra Williams.

Tim is survived by his wife, Cathy Binkley Minor; son, Matthew Minor and fiancée Tiffany Harrison; mother, Thelma Lewis Minor; brother, Dicky Minor; sister in law, Kathy Minor; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at 2 pm at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Westlawn Gardens of Memory.
