Timothy Cray Mabe

Mr. Timothy Cray Mabe, 72 of Clemmons, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024. He was born August 21, 1952 in Forsyth County to the late Leff Cray Mabe and Peggy Lou Browder Mabe. He graduated from Texas A& M University. He managed several convention centers and arenas in GA and TX, later working as President and CEO of the High Point Convention and Visitors Bureau. Years earlier he was co-owner with his mother running Baity’s Backstreet Music Garden. Many great artists played there. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Stokes Mabe; two sons, Jimmie and Steven Mabe; one step-son, Nick Hillman; and four grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Wayne Swisher. The family will receive friends following the service.
