Timothy Scott Good

Timothy (Tim) Scott Good, was born December 17th, 1964, at Izmir Air Base in Izmir Turkey and raised in Kernersville NC. He went to be with his Heavenly Father, September 1st, 2023, at 7:10 AM surrounded by his loving partner and family at Forsyth Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his mother Joan Stidd Good. Tim is survived by his loving Partner of 34 years, Sterling Rayvon Garris, his daughter Tierney, and grandson Cory Norton II. He is also survived by his father Thomas Franklin Good, two brothers, Thomas Franklin Good II (Selina), children Alexis Williams and Robert McKague of North Carolina; Todd Patrick Good (Audra) of Connecticut, their children, Jordan, Jessica, and Eli. Aunt Louann and Uncle Butch Brown from West Virginia. He also leaves to cherish his memory a host of cousins and many friends.

Tim loved traveling, watching foreign films, gardening, and spoiling his pets. He also loved to host and cook great meals for his family and friends to enjoy. He was a loyal and faithful companion to his partner and friends. He had a comical way about him that made others laugh and was a joy to be around and full of life. Tim faithfully served in multiple capacities in his church (Parkway United Church of Christ); greeting folks, communion preparation and a member of the Men's Song Team. He also worked with the children to serve as acolytes for the service. Tim will be loved and missed and will always remain in our hearts.

He was employed at Wells Fargo for 25 years in Winston Salem.

Services will be held Sunday, September 10th, 2023, at Parkway United Church of Christ, located at 1465 Irving Street, Winston Salem, NC. A viewing will be held from 2:00pm to 3:30pm with the service to follow at 4:00 pm. Pastor Craig Schaub of Parkway UCC will be officiating. Light refreshments and fellowship to follow the service.

The family would like to thank the amazing Doctors, Nurses, and staff of Forsyth Medical Center for taking such amazing care of Tim. In addition, they would like to thank many family members and friends for their support, care, and love through this hard time.
