Timothy Eric Allen

Mr. Timothy ""Tim"" Eric Allen, 55, of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2016.

Tim was born July 8, 1960 in Forsyth Co. to the late Clarence L. Allen, Jr. and Mollie Baucom Allen. Over the years, he worked in a variety of fields, using his ability to fix anything. Tim was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was an avid chess player and also enjoyed playing Scrabble and doing crosswords. His family and friends will remember him fondly as someone who was always willing to lend a helping hand.

Tim is survived by his sister, Susan Primiano and husband Michael; neice, Ashley Walker; nephew, Wesley Walker and wife Karen; aunts, Shirley Chambers, Ellen White and husband Ken, and Peggy Hall; uncle, Elbert Baucom and wife Nancy; beloved rescue dog, Lucy; close friends, Kathy Graves and Janet Owens; and numerous cousins and friends.

A celebration of Tim's life will be held Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2 pm at Griffith Baptist Church. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
