Tiffany Grace Zimmer Alley

Mrs. Tiffany Grace Zimmer Alley, 22, of Walkertown passed away Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born April 4, 1988 in Jacksonville, FL, the daughter of Laura and Carl Plunkett of Walkertown. Mrs. Alley attended Carver High School and was a graduate of Forsyth Tech in 2006. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Kenneth Zimmer and her paternal grandfather, Gray Keye. Surviving are her husband, Chad D. Alley; her daughter, Katelynn Phillips; her parents of Walkertown; one brother, Dustin Plunkett of Walkertown; mother-in-law, Martha South of Winston-Salem; maternal grandmother, Grace Zimmer of Florida; maternal grandfather, Wilford Plunkett of Winston-Salem; and paternal grandmother, Lois Keye of Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, October 30 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully asks that memorials be sent to Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, 3315 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem, NC 27103 to help cover Tiffany's service costs. Tiffany has enriched the lives of six people to whom she has donated her organs. Even though she had a troubled life, her family hopes she has found peace.
