Mr. Thurman “Louie” Jones, Jr., 60, of Winston-Salem, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2021, at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born in Forsyth County on October 3, 1960, to Thurman Louie “Bud” Jones, Sr., and Helen Ball Jones. He was of the Baptist faith. He was presently employed under Axalta, which was formerly known as Valspar, with many years of loyal service. He served as Scout Master of troop 728 and was a member of the Order of the Arrow. He also loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. Most importantly, he was a loving husband, father, and son.

Louie is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Lisa Adams Jones; three children: Michael A. Jones and wife Jordan, Jennifer Richards and husband Charles, and Hannah Jones; he is also survived by his mother and father: Mr. and Mrs. Thurman “Bud” Jones Sr.; sister, Sherri Jester, and husband Darrell; nephews, Brandon, and Steven Jester; father and mother-in-law, Jesse and Jane Adams; and a sister-in-law, Robin Adams.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Parklawn Memorial Park in the Chapel of Memories, with Rev. Chuck Harmon officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boy Scouts of America, Old Hickory Council or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
