Mr. Thomas George Boose, 91, passed away Tuesday July 12, 2022 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born March 4, 1931 to the late Ellis Lee Boose and Addie Luper Boose in Forsyth County. Thomas was an avid outdoorsman who loved rabbit hunting and fishing. His joy of hunting was accompanied by his ability to train and run his prized pure bread beagles. Thomas bravely served his country in the US Army during the Korean war and retired from R.J Reynolds Tobacco Company with 34 years of service. He was truly a man who was beloved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. In addition to his parents Thomas was preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Margaret Boose, a daughter; Joni Ankeny, two brothers, and four sisters. He is survived by his loving children; Jennifer Boose (John Chandler), and Ron Boose, two grandsons; Chris Chandler (Allison), and Carson Ankeny, and one great-grandson; Nicky Chandler. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday July 16, 2022 at Woodland Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Gammons officiating. Burial will follow at Gardens of Memory Walkertown. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
