Thomasene "Tommie" Davis Hauser

Mrs. Thomasene ""Tommie"" Davis Hauser, 82, of Winston-Salem, passed away on March 27, 2016 Easter Sunday at her home. Thomasene was born on September 21, 1933 in Forsyth County to Tom Thumb Davis and Gladys Davis. She graduated from Hanes High School. Thomasene was a member of New Philadelphia Moravian Church and a member of the Women's Fellowship. She was also an active member of the Clemmons Garden Club. She was an employee for many years of Piedmont Natural Gas. In addition to her parents Tommie was preceded in death by a brother, Dallas Davis. Surviving are her husband Jack E. Hauser; a brother, W.J. Davis from Richmond, VA and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service for Tommie will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2016 at New Philadelphia Moravian Church with the Rev. Dr. Worth Green officiating. Interment will follow at New Philadelphia Moravian Graveyard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Philadelphia Moravian Church. The family will receive friends following the service and burial at the church.
