Thomas 'Tom' Ray Wood, Sr.

Mr. Thomas ""Tom"" Ray Wood, Sr. age 48 of Winston-Salem passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Tom was born April 18, 1963 to Richard Thomas and Leathia Mae Sheppard Wood. Tom worked at Double D Trucking for ten years and also drove for Buena Vista Limo Service. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed living the country boy life style. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by one sister and one brother. Surviving is one son; Thomas Ray ""T.J."" Wood, Jr. of Winston-Salem. The mother of his son; Peggy Bradley of Winston-Salem. Four sisters and two brothers. Several nieces and nephews. A visitation for Tom will be held Saturday afternoon February 18, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall for 4:00 until 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations for Tom's funeral expense be sent to Rachel Crews, 2264 Dean Road, Kernersville, NC 27284
