Thomas Whicker

Walkertown – Thomas Lavan Whicker, 57, passed away, Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born on June 19, 1964, in Forsyth County to the late Harold Lavan and Helen Ziglar Whicker. Thomas was a welder by trade and was self-employed. He enjoyed spending his down time riding motorcycles and fishing. Thomas loved his family dearly, especially his granddaughter, Abby, she was the apple of his eye.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Whicker Travis.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Alisha Whicker; his granddaughter, Abby Pearl Martin; three sisters, Nancy Hill, Deborah Wetmore (David), Patty Foster (Robert); and many nieces and nephews.

No formal services at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his honor to Trellis Supportive Care 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
