Thomas “Tom” Allen Reavis, 68, passed away on November 25, 2024, in Winston-Salem, NC. 

Tom was born in Forsyth County on July 12, 1956, to Ollie Thomas Reavis and Frances Woodruff Reavis. He graduated from West Forsyth High School in Clemmons, NC. Tom was employed by Trimantec in the Mechanical Design department for 24 years. 

Tom enjoyed spending time outside. In his younger years, he loved camping, hunting, and fishing. He also liked to play golf at Pine Knolls in Kernersville. Music was one of the great joys of his life. Tom loved listening to country music and playing country music on his guitar. He also enjoyed sitting outside of his house and chatting with his neighbors. 

Tom was preceded in death by his father; sister, Debra Morris; brother, David Reavis; and uncle, Ralph Woodruff. 

He is survived by his partner, Jackie Hawkins; his mother, Fran Messick (Dickie); Jackie’s children, David Keeton and Robin Alicia Hater; granddaughter, Hannah Hater; sisters-in-law, April Reavis and Janice Dragston; brother-in-law, Ric Heisler; niece Jamie Oswell (Josh); his nephew, Jason Messick (Crystal); great nieces, Harper, Lacy, and Madyson; and great-nephews, Cooper and Jayson. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday, December 4 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. 

Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Service Incorporated, 3175 Maplewood Avenue, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
